[ RULES ]
SANDSPLASH is a mixed-tournament, 5 vs. 5 players. This means you need a minimum of 3 men and 3 women in your team. Every point is played with 2-3 women/men on the line depending on the offence.
To guarantee a fair competition, every player is allowed to play only in one team. If for any reason a team will play with only two women or players from other teams, the game will be held but it will be counted as a lost game for this team. But we hope that every team will have enough men/women at SANDSPLASH in order to have maximum fairness and maximum fun :-))
Teams have been divided in 4 pools of 4 teams each. In the first round teams play round robin in each pool.
Second round -1st and 2nd placed teams of Pools A and D form upper Pool 1 (UP1), 1st and 2nd placed teams of Pools B and C form upper pool 2 (UP2), 3rd and 4th placed teams of Pools A and D form lower pool 1 (LP1), and 3rd and 4th placed teams of Pools B and C - lower pool 2 (LP2). Teams play round robin in each pool, the result of first round games has been kept.
